Travellearn Ireland-UK

...Hi peoples..this is going to be my blog..unfortunately I don't have any pictures from the Ireland-Wales part of the trip,,due to my stupidity of playing with my camera I deleted them all.. very sad, I know.. but still I got a couple of good ones..I hope you like them.. if so, please leave some comments about them.. I will update my work with videos, etc.. Thanks to all..this was an amazing experience..I am definately signing up for another trip.. it'll be great if you all come too..lol..take care...yuhuu-cheers!

Real London

Real London
Best picture taken in the entire trip..lol.. I'm wining the photo contest with this one...

Shakepeare's Monument (Stratford) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shakespeare
Lost, trying to find that red buss, missing my luch, I was able to take this photo, don't think anyone else has it...lol

Visit to the Warwick Castle of North England (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warwick_Castle)

Amazing site... it was like going back in time! Kind of sad when we had to leave without being able to see everything, again I was last to get on the buss..lol I was very close to purchase one of the medieval swords they were selling, that would have been the greates souvenir. Some american guy that saw me looking at the sword told me I could get a better sword at the http://www.rennfest.com/ (Renaissance Festival, Maryland) for a little more money and without the dilema that it could be trying to get the piece into the US... so, now you know people, if you wanna have a similar experience without leaving the country, drive down to Maryland!

Tottenham Stadium

Tottenham Stadium
This is the picture I would have taken ... Another dissapointing time when I couldn't find a way to get into the Tottenham Stadium for the match against the Portsmouth..The English were rude! ..I guess they didn't buy into our story about being American tourists/soccer fans that coudn't get tickets for the game... the entire day wasted for nothing...

On Tour Reviews...

- I brought back with me a copy of “The Mail”, major newspaper from London. The Mail is well known for being the best Sunday’s newspaper, it basically covers a lot of the national news, contains a lot of advertisement, sports, fashion and art. After comparing it with our NY Times I found that they are a bit different, the NY Times is more about political national and international news and it doesn’t focus too much in advertisements. My impression about almost all major Newspapers, TV Channels and British magazines are that they are very similar to the US ones, they have a great variety of publications that cover all important topics.
- My experience after the trip to Ireland and the UK has been somewhat different from what I was expecting. The city of Dublin, even when it is recognized in the world as an important capital, it is really a small place, better known for its nightlife, etc. Wales, or at least what we got to see about this country, was pretty much a cheep farmers land. I personally found that London was more of an important metropolis, with a great combination of history and innovative places, which makes it a very interesting visit.
